We set your markers
Before the season starts, we place driveway markers on both sides of your driveway for clean, accurate plowing all winter.
It snows 2" or more
We monitor snowfall across the Valley. Service activates once roughly 2" has fallen — and in a long storm we may let a little more stack up (to about 6") so your pass actually lasts.
Your operator rolls
Trucks are fueled and dispatched, and your route's operator heads for your neighborhood — day or night, whenever the storm calls for it.
You watch it happen
A text says we're on the way — and on Pro plans, live GPS tracking of the truck means you know your ETA without asking.
Driveway clear
Plowed with precision, markers respected, safe access for your family and vehicles. Then we do it again next storm.
What a route morning looks like.

Berms, handled straight.
State and city plows leave berms
On heavy snow days, road plows push a wall of packed snow right across the end of your freshly cleared driveway. Everyone in Alaska knows the feeling.
Here's exactly how we handle them
A berm sitting there when we plow? Cleared with your service. Heavy multi-day storm? Pro Unlimited includes second-pass coverage to keep your driveway usable. A berm dropped after we've already been by? That's a quick add-on through the office — we don't hide the line, we just tell you where it is.
Three ways to handle winter.
Both route subscriptions get the 2" activation and the 24-Hour Service Guarantee. The difference is how you pay — and how much is bundled in.
- Secured spot on a Snip&Clip route
- Automatic dispatch at the 2" activation
- 24-Hour Service Guarantee
- Locked-in preferred per-push rate
- Each completed plow billed separately
- Card-on-file billing
- Every qualifying plow, all season, one rate
- Automatic dispatch at the 2" activation
- 24-Hour Service Guarantee
- Second-pass coverage on heavy storms
- Live GPS tracking when available
- Buddy System access when offered
- Request a plow when you need one
- Served when routes have room
- Priced per visit, quoted at request
- No secured spot or locked pricing
- No 24-hour guarantee
Exact pricing depends on your driveway — your quote and the full service agreement arrive within 24 hours. Subscriptions are season-long commitments billed in seven monthly installments (October through April 1) that cover the whole season through April 30; a deposit may apply.
Ice happens. Sanding's a call away.
Sanding, a la carte
Glare ice, steep grades, warm snaps that refreeze overnight — sanding is available all season as a separate service. Call or text the office and we'll get you gripped. On driveways too icy or steep to plow safely, we may need to sand first.
Snow removal FAQ.
When does the snow removal season start and end?
Our season runs October 1 through April 30, every winter. Service agreements run season to season.
When do you plow?
Service activates once roughly 2 inches has fallen at or near your address — you never have to call. It's an activation point, not a promise to plow at every additional 2": during an active storm we may let more accumulate (up to about 6") so your pass actually lasts.
What happens during a multi-day storm?
We run clearance passes to keep your driveway usable — typically up to once per 24 hours while it's still snowing — then complete the full cleanup after the snow stops. The guarantee clock starts when the storm ends, not when it begins.
What's the 24-Hour Service Guarantee?
On both route subscriptions: once a qualifying snow event ends, your driveway is serviced within 24 hours — or a service credit goes on your account (a per-push credit on Basic, half your monthly fee on Pro). Just report it through the office within 48 hours.
Is Pro Unlimited really unlimited?
Every qualifying plow, all season, at one rate — no separate charge per plowing visit, no matter how hard the winter hits. It follows the same activation and storm-timing rules above; it isn't on-demand dispatch or plowing at every 2".
Do you clear the berms city plows leave?
If a berm is there when we service you, we clear it with your visit. Pro Unlimited adds second-pass coverage on heavy storms. A berm dropped after we've already plowed is a quick billable add-on through the office.
Do you offer sanding?
Yes — sanding is available a la carte through the office. On steep or icy driveways we may need to sand before we can plow safely.
How will I know when you're coming?
You get text or email alerts when service is scheduled and when your operator is on the way — Pro plans add live GPS tracking when available. Routes run whenever the storm demands, day or night.
How do billing and sign-up work?
Fill out the quick online form and your quote, pricing, and the full service agreement arrive within 24 hours. Subscriptions are a full-season commitment billed in seven monthly installments (October through April 1) that cover the entire season; a card on file is required and a deposit may apply.
